The most important thing was to give viewers a reason why to "ban the bottle" because many consumers don't think using plastic bottles was a big deal because they could “just recycle them.”

I used the familiar slogan “reduce, reuse, recycle” but highlight the importance of “reducing” and “reusing” instead.
